What's On For Dads In March?
March begins with our Playgroups! They’re free for all Dads and children ages 0-5, and take place on Saturday (Edinburgh and Glasgow) and Sunday (Edinburgh) from 10-11:30am. They are the perfect opportunity to play with your wee one, chat to other dads over a cuppa and meet the Dads Rock team.
Our NEW North Ayrshire Baby Group is on every Wednesday in Stevenson, 6:30-7:30 - sign up here! Free for all new Dads with babies under 1 to come for a cuppa and chat. On Wednesday 13th, we’re hosting a FREE Baby Sensory session - come along for songs, lights and musical instruments.
If you’re looking to learn some vital life skills, come along to our First Aid workshop with First Stop. Taking place on Monday 11th 7-9pm at Gorgie Memorial Hall, with a focus on babies and children. The team will be covering the fundamentals of basic First Aid - such as choking, burns and CPR. If you’re expecting a new baby our February Antenatal Workshops are in Glasgow (14th), Online (18th) and Edinburgh (26th). These 2 hour workshops allow Dads to learn about feeding, sleeping, bathing and nappies. It’s a very chilled out and interactive workshop where Dads can ask any questions they have about their little ones. Our Hairstyling Workshop is back in Edinburgh on Saturday 30th, 10am. These have been really popular, and teach Dads the basics, from perfecting a ponytail, braiding and more. All you need to bring is your wee one, some hair bobbles and a hairbrush.
Finally, our Dads Trips are back! Both Edinburgh and Glasgow groups are coming together for a trip to the Glasgow Science Museum on the 23rd. This is a self guided tour, open to all Dads and children aged 0-8.
We’ve also got our first Dads Trip in North Ayrshire! Join us on the 30th for a beach walk. This is a great way to chat to other Dads and play with your wee one whilst enjoying the Scottish sunshine(!).

February Roundup
Dads Rock was super busy in February - despite it being the shortest month, we held plenty of workshops and playgroups.
Workshops in February included Sleep and Antenatal - future dates and sign up details can be found on our website. We welcomed Dads from Birmingham, Cardiff, Liverpool, Southport and across Scotland to our online workshops, as well as plenty Dads in both Edinburgh and Glasgow.
Our Dads went to Saughton Park and the Riverside Museum for their trips. We had a great number of families who joined us for a fun get-together, and had lots of fun! Dads and their wee ones explored transport and technology on a self-guided tour throughout the museum, and also enjoyed playing and chatting in Saughton Park.
